You will need six pieces of LEDs, six pieces of 680Ω resistors, five pieces of 1N4148 diodes, two pieces of 100uf capacitors, two pieces of 1N4007 diodes, two pieces of wires and a piece of zero PCB. Next, insert all the required electronic components into the PCB one by one according the circuit diagram shown in the image in this blog post. After doing this, solder all these components using solder wire and solder iron.

Finally, connect two wires to both terminals of the stereo and to the circuit. This will complete the circuit and allow current to flow through the circuit. Now, when you turn on your stereo, you should see the LED lights up! This is how you can easily make a vu meter for your home stereo.
